The Baby Wood catalogue is handmade baby goods: crocheted moses baskets, lounger nests, mobiles, play gyms, bedding, blankets, canopies and accessories. Everything is crocheted and sewn by us, in our own workshop in Ukraine.

Sizes and choosing a model
Baskets come in two sizes: Standard 70 × 40 cm and Comfort 80 × 40 cm. The difference is the base only — contents, materials and quality are identical.
The 70 × 40 suits roughly to 5–6 months, the 80 × 40 to 7–8, after which a baby outgrows the sides. A basket can be used at night: many parents stand it flush against their own bed so night feeds do not mean getting up. Dimensions for everything else are on the individual product pages.
Colours
For baskets the colour is chosen on the product page, from cord swatches. For items without a colour selector, leave the shade you want in the order note.
Shades on a screen can differ from the real thing. If the exact tone matters, write to us and we will send extra photographs. Your own colour is possible too: we will tell you whether that cord exists and how long it would take.
Prices and what is included
Every item of handmade baby goods in the catalogue carries its price on its own page, and it depends on the model and the size. Prices on the site are always current — we keep no separate price list. All figures are in hryvnia and include all taxes and mandatory charges.
Every basket set is complete: basket, orthopaedic mattress, rocking stand, pendant, packaging and storage covers. Nothing needs buying separately. Delivery is not included in the price and is charged separately at the carrier’s rates.
Lead time
There is no warehouse of finished pieces: we crochet handmade baby goods to order, so every item is made specifically for you. The lead time is the same for catalogue items and custom ones — 14 working days, plus the carrier’s transit, usually from one day within Ukraine.
If you need your own size, your own cord colour or engraving, write to us: we will agree the details and work out the time. It starts from the day everything is settled.
What comes in a basket set
Basket, orthopaedic mattress, rocking stand, pendant, packaging and textile storage covers — all together. The mattress is included with baskets and with nests, and its cover comes off for washing.
The basket and the stand can be ordered separately: write to us and we will work out what you need.
If it is a gift
Packaging and textile storage covers come with the basket set — nothing to add. The box is large: 80 × 42 × 32 cm and 12 kg. Box weight and dimensions for each item are on its product page.
If it has to arrive by a particular date, count 14 working days for making plus the carrier’s transit, and write to us in advance: we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Materials
We make handmade baby goods from things that can be checked: Oeko-Tex certified cotton in the cord and textiles, solid birch with no lacquer or paint — sanding only — and pressed linen in the mattress, with a Ministry of Health of Ukraine registration certificate and a state patent. We send the documents on request, and the composition of every item is on its own page.
Seeing the pieces in a real room
Studio photographs show the object but not the scale. Most shots in real nurseries are on Instagram @baby_wood.ua: the same handmade baby goods photographed in customers’ homes. If you are unsure about a size or a shade, look there or write to us.
Shipping, payment and returns
We ship with Nova Poshta (branch, parcel locker or courier to the door), Ukrposhta and Meest Express (branch or courier) — to any town or village in Ukraine, and to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the USA and Canada. Delivery is charged at the carrier’s current rates and paid on receipt: we add no mark-up of our own, and it is not included in the item price. Payment is by card online, cash on delivery, or bank transfer; international orders are paid in advance.
An item can be returned within fourteen days of receipt, without explanation, and we pay the return shipping — even for pieces made to your own measurements.
