Shipping & Payment
Version of 6 August 2026
Every Baby Wood piece is woven by hand, so the wait comes in two parts: how long we take to make it and how long it takes to reach you. Both numbers are below, along with payment methods and what you should know about international parcels.
How long it takes
Production — 14 working days.
For pieces made to individual specifications (your dimensions, your cord colour, engraving), the clock starts the day we’ve agreed all the details with you.
Delivery — according to the carrier’s schedule, typically from one day within Ukraine.
Total = production + delivery. We show these separately on purpose: a carrier’s “three days” means three days from the moment the parcel is already moving, not from your order.
In any case, we hand the piece to the carrier no later than thirty days from the day the order is placed.
Delivery within Ukraine
We deliver to any town or village in Ukraine served by the chosen carrier.
Nova Poshta
- to a branch;
- to a parcel locker;
- by courier to your address.
Ukrposhta
- to a branch;
- by courier to your address.
Meest Express
- to a branch;
- by courier to your address.
You choose the delivery method in the order form. The “Delivery method” field holds the carrier and the format (branch, parcel locker or courier), and the branch or locker number — or the full address for a courier — goes in the “Delivery and order notes” field: that one is required.
Delivery cost is calculated at the carrier’s current tariffs and paid on collection. We don’t add a margin on shipping.
Photo ID is required to collect a prepaid parcel, and only the person the delivery is addressed to can collect it.
International delivery
We ship abroad — to the following countries: European Union countries, the United Kingdom, the USA and Canada.
Timing depends on the carrier and on customs procedures in the destination country, and is usually considerably longer than domestic delivery. We’ll confirm the exact time and cost before you order — write to us if you need delivery outside Ukraine.
- Customs duties, fees and taxes in the destination country are paid by the recipient. We don’t control other countries’ customs procedures and can neither predict the amount nor reimburse it. It’s worth checking your country’s import rules before ordering.
- Cash on delivery is not available internationally. International orders are paid in advance — by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Instalments and payment by invoice are also Ukraine-only: these are products of Ukrainian banks.
Payment methods
Online payment goes through the WayForPay service. You enter your card details on its secure page — we never see or store them.
Card
Visa, Mastercard or PROSTIR. The order goes into production as soon as payment succeeds.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
If your card is already in your wallet, it’s a single tap — no card number to type.
Payment in instalments — 0% instalments from Monobank
You can split the amount into several payments right on the payment page. The number of instalments and the bank are chosen there; the available options depend on your card.
Payment by invoice
If you’d rather not pay by card online: the service generates an invoice, which you pay at any Ukrainian bank branch. The piece goes into production once the funds arrive — how long that takes depends on your bank.
Cash on delivery
Payment on collection at the carrier’s branch. This is a carrier service rather than a payment service, so it’s available within Ukraine only. The money-transfer fee is paid by the recipient at the carrier’s tariffs.
You’ll see the exact set of methods on the payment page — it depends on the service settings at the time of payment.
For pieces made to individual specifications we may ask for an advance payment; the amount is agreed with you before work begins.
Currency
All settlement is in Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH). Prices on the site include all taxes and mandatory charges; delivery cost is not included in the price of the piece and is calculated separately.
If the site displays a price in another currency, that’s an indicative conversion. The amount charged is determined in UAH, and the conversion rate and any fees are set by your bank.
If the parcel arrives damaged
Inspect the parcel on collection, while you’re still at the branch — these are the two most important minutes of the whole process.
If the box is crushed or torn, or the piece inside is damaged:
- Ask the carrier’s representative to draw up a damage report.
- Photograph the packaging and the piece.
- Write to us the same day at legal@babywood.shop or call +380 (63) 180-38-79.
With that report the matter is settled quickly. Without it, working out at which stage the damage happened takes a long time for everyone.
If the piece isn’t right
You have fourteen days from receipt to return any piece, including one made to your specifications. No reason needed, and we pay for return shipping.
