The Baby Wood crocheted moses basket is a beautiful and practical place for your baby to sleep from the very first days. It makes a cosy space for the child and lets parents move it freely around the home, so the little one is always close. The set includes a crocheted basket, a rocking stand with stoppers, an orthopaedic pressed-linen mattress, a decorative horse pendant and storage covers.
Materials
- Crocheted basket: handmade from natural cotton cord with the international Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. The material is hypoallergenic, soft and completely safe for infants. The base is made of strong, perfectly sanded birch plywood.
- Orthopaedic mattress: filled with pressed linen. It holds the official certificate of state registration from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as a medical-purpose product and is protected by a state patent. It provides the firmness needed for the correct formation of an infant’s spine.
- Stand: made of solid natural birch. The surface is carefully sanded to perfect smoothness, with no lacquers or chemical coatings.

Safety
The basket is securely fixed to the stand by special wooden stopper bars attached to the base of the basket. They prevent the basket from sliding lengthwise, forwards and backwards. The side limiters of the stand prevent any sideways movement, ensuring complete stability and safety for the baby while sleeping or resting. The design of the stand makes it easy to lock it in a static position.

What is the difference from Standard 70×40?
Ten centimetres of length, which is roughly two extra months of use. Everything else — stand, mattress, materials — is identical. Standard 70×40.
Which size should I choose?
If you want the basket to serve as long as possible, take Comfort: it lasts to 7–8 months against 5–6 for Standard. If the room is tight, Standard is ten centimetres shorter.
Is this the same as a bassinet or a moses basket?
Yes. Bassinet, crib basket, moses basket — all are names for the same thing. We call it a basket because it is a full sleeping place with an orthopaedic mattress, not a carrier.
Can the baby sleep in it at night?
Yes. Many parents stand it flush against their own bed — night feeds are easier when you do not have to get up.
Can I order only the stand or only the basket?
Yes, the basket and the stand can be ordered separately — write to us and we will work out what you need.
How long is the wait?
Production takes 14 working days — every basket is crocheted to order. Then 1–2 days for delivery with Nova Poshta.
How much does it weigh? Could I collect it myself?
The box weighs 12 kg — not heavy, but large: 80 × 40 × 30 cm. Collecting it yourself is perfectly possible, though a trolley or a second pair of hands helps at the branch.
Is the mattress really orthopaedic?
Yes, pressed linen, with a Ministry of Health of Ukraine certificate and a state patent. We send the documents on request.
