Which carriers do you use?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Nova Poshta \u2014 to a branch, a parcel locker or by courier to the door. Ukrposhta and Meest Express \u2014 to a branch or by courier. You choose the method in the order form and put the branch number in the order note. We deliver to any town or village in Ukraine served by the carrier you choose.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How much is delivery?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

At the carrier\u2019s current rates, paid on receipt. We add no mark-up of our own, and it is not included in the item price.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When do you dispatch?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>
\n

After the piece is finished. The time has two parts: 14 working days of making, then the carrier\u2019s transit \u2014 usually from one day within Ukraine. In any case we hand the item to the carrier no later than thirty days from the day the order is placed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you ship outside Ukraine?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Yes \u2014 to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the USA and Canada. Transit times depend on the carrier and on customs in the destination country, and are usually considerably longer than domestic ones; write to us before ordering and we will quote the exact cost. The order form has an \u201cInternational shipping\u201d option for this: choose it and put your full address with postcode in the \u201cDelivery and order notes\u201d field. Any duty, fees and taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient. Cash on delivery does not work internationally: international orders are paid in advance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How much does a basket weigh? Could I collect it myself?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

The box with a basket weighs 12 kg \u2014 not heavy, but large: 80 \u00d7 42 \u00d7 32 cm. Collecting it yourself is realistic, though a trolley or a second pair of hands helps at the branch. The price of every item is on its own page in the catalogue<\/a> and depends on the model and the size. Prices on the site are always current; we keep no separate price list.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What does the price of a basket include?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>
\n

The complete set: basket, orthopaedic mattress, rocking stand, pendant, packaging and storage covers. Nothing needs buying separately. Delivery is not included in the price and is charged separately.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Are the prices on the site final?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Yes. All settlement is in hryvnia, and prices include all taxes and mandatory charges. If the site shows a price in another currency, that is a reference conversion: the amount charged is set in hryvnia, and the rate and any fee are set by your bank.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

How can I pay?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

By Visa, Mastercard or PROSTIR card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, in instalments or on 0% credit from Monobank, by bank transfer \u2014 or cash on delivery within Ukraine. Online payments go through WayForPay: you enter your card details on their secure page, and we neither see nor store them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you accept the state \u201cBaby Package\u201d card?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Yes, we do. Write to us before placing the order and we will agree how to process the payment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I pay in parts?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>
\n

Yes \u2014 instalments and 0% credit from Monobank. You can split the amount into several payments on the payment page itself; the number of payments and the bank are chosen there too, and the options available depend on your card. Instalments and bank transfer work within Ukraine only \u2014 they are products of Ukrainian banks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I pay cash on delivery?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Yes, within Ukraine. It is the carrier\u2019s service rather than a payment provider\u2019s: the transfer fee is paid by the recipient at the carrier\u2019s rates. For pieces made to your own parameters we may ask for a deposit \u2014 the amount is agreed with you before work starts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Available colours are shown on each product page, as swatches or photographs. For baskets the colour is chosen on the product page itself; for items without a colour selector, leave the shade you want in the order note.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I choose a colour from a photograph?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Shades on a screen can differ from the real thing. If the exact tone matters to you, write to us \u2014 we will advise and send extra photographs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We make baskets in two sizes: Standard 70 \u00d7 40 cm and Comfort 80 \u00d7 40 cm. Dimensions for everything else are given on the individual product pages.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What age is a basket for?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

The 70 \u00d7 40 suits roughly to 5\u20136 months, the 80 \u00d7 40 to 7\u20138 months. After that a baby outgrows the side.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How does Comfort differ from Standard?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

By the base size only: 80 \u00d7 40 against 70 \u00d7 40. Contents of the set, materials and quality are identical.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can a baby sleep in it at night, or is it more for daytime?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

At night as well. Many parents stand the basket flush against their own bed \u2014 it makes night feeds easier, without getting up.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

14 working days. For pieces made to your own parameters \u2014 your own size, your own cord colour, engraving \u2014 the clock starts on the day we have agreed all the details with you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you have it in stock?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Every piece is crocheted to order \u2014 there is no warehouse of finished items. That is why the made to order lead time is the same for catalogue positions and for custom ones.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is a gift, for a particular date. Will it arrive in time?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Delicate cycle, low temperature, no bleach, minimum spin. The exact cycle for a particular item is given on its label.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What are the pieces made of?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Oeko-Tex certified cotton in the cord and the textiles, natural wood \u2014 solid birch, no lacquer or paint \u2014 and pressed linen in the mattress. The composition of each item is given on its product page.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is the mattress genuinely orthopaedic?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Yes, pressed linen, with a registration certificate from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and a state patent. We show the documents on request.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What if the item does not suit?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Return it within fourteen days of receipt, without explaining why. We pay the return shipping. That applies to pieces made to your own parameters as well \u2014 formally we could refuse, and we do not use that right.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When will I get my money back?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Within seven days of the item reaching us. By the same method you paid: card payments go back to the card; cash on delivery or a transfer goes to the details you provide.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if the parcel arrives damaged?<\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div>

Inspect the parcel at the branch. If the box is crushed or torn, or the item is damaged, ask the carrier\u2019s representative to draw up a report, photograph the packaging and the item, and write to us the same day at legal@babywood.shop or call +380 (63) 180-38-79.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
