We crochet moses baskets, sew bedding and canopies, and assemble mobiles and play gyms \u2014 from the first sketch to the finished piece, by hand. Nothing here is resold: everything in the catalogue is made in our own workshop.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it started<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It started in 2021 with a few wooden toys and one sewing machine. First rattles and teethers, then play gyms and mobiles, and from 2023 a full production cycle of our own.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today the core of what we make is the <strong>crocheted moses basket<\/strong>. Everything else gathered around it: what you make the basket up with, what hangs above it, and what you carry the baby out in.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What a Ukrainian nursery workshop actually makes<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/cradles\/\">Moses baskets<\/a> \u2014 Standard 70 \u00d7 40 and Comfort 80 \u00d7 40<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/lounger-nests\/\">Lounger nests<\/a> \u2014 for newborns<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/baby-mobiles\/\">Mobiles and stands<\/a> \u2014 handmade carousels<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/baby-gym\/\">Baby play gyms<\/a> \u2014 birch frames<\/li>\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/bedding\/\">Bedding<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/blankets\/\">blankets and wraps<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/canopies\/\">canopies<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/catalog\/accessories\/\">accessories<\/a><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How we work<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Ukrainian nursery workshop works without a warehouse: every piece starts after your order and takes <strong>14 working days<\/strong>. That is longer than buying off a shelf, and in exchange you choose the colour and the configuration instead of taking what is left.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lead time is the same for catalogue items and for made-to-measure ones \u2014 your own size, your own cord colour, engraving. For custom pieces it starts on the day we have agreed all the details with you.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the order is needed by a particular date, write to us <strong>before<\/strong> placing it. We will add 14 working days to the carrier\u2019s transit time and tell you honestly whether it can be done.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials you can check<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Ukrainian nursery workshop should answer for what lies next to a newborn, not for how it looks in a photograph. That is why the composition of every piece is on its own product page rather than described in general terms.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Oeko-Tex certified cotton<\/strong> \u2014 in the cord and the textiles<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Solid birch with no lacquer or paint<\/strong> \u2014 sanding only<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Pressed linen in the mattress<\/strong> \u2014 with a Ministry of Health of Ukraine registration certificate and a state patent; we send the documents on request<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colours and sizes<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baskets are crocheted in two sizes: Standard 70 \u00d7 40 cm and Comfort 80 \u00d7 40 cm. The only difference is the base \u2014 materials, contents and quality are identical. The first suits roughly to 5\u20136 months, the second to 7\u20138.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basket colour is chosen on the product page, from cord swatches. If the exact tone matters, write to us and we will send extra photographs: shades on a screen often differ from the real thing. Your own colour is possible too \u2014 we will tell you whether that cord exists and how long it would take.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What comes in a set<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A basket set is complete: basket, orthopaedic mattress, rocking stand, pendant, packaging and storage covers. Nothing needs buying separately \u2014 the mattress is included with both baskets and nests, and its cover comes off for washing.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The basket and the stand can also be ordered on their own \u2014 write to us and we will work out what you actually need.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shipping and payment<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ship with Nova Poshta (branch, parcel locker or courier to the door), Ukrposhta and Meest Express (branch or courier) \u2014 to any town or village in Ukraine. Internationally we deliver to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the USA and Canada.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment is by card online, cash on delivery, or bank transfer to our sole-trader account. International orders are paid in advance: cash on delivery does not work abroad. Details are on the <a href=\"https:\/\/babywood.shop\/en\/shipping\/\">Shipping &amp; Payment<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If something does not suit<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can return an item within fourteen days of receiving it, without explaining why. <strong>We pay the return shipping.<\/strong> That applies to made-to-measure pieces as well: formally we could refuse, and we do not use that right.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reason is simple \u2014 you choose the size and the colour from photographs on a screen.
